FROM EL SALVADOR TO PLANO ROOTS
From an early age, Elisa recognized the vital role public education plays in preparing individuals for life. Her parents identified Plano as a leader in public education, leading Elisa to call it home since her teenage years. Her first job was working retail at Collin Creek Mall. Elisa is a proud graduate of Plano East Senior High School. Following high school, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University. She later obtained a Master's in Public Affairs and Administration and a UX Design Certificate from Southern Methodist University. Elisa and her husband, Michael, met at Texas Tech and are proud to be raising their two kids in Plano.
